Submillimetre imaging (350 μm to 850 μm) and millimetre photometry (1.35 mm and 2 mm) observations, obtained with SCUBA (Holland et al. 1998), are used: (1) to investigate electron aging for synchrotron emission and (2) to determine the dust content in Cygnus-A.
