Abstract

Second language speech: Structure and process is a collection of current research on SLA phonology. The papers in this book vary widely in scope and theoretical stance, but a recurrent theme is that research in second language phonology can shed light on other areas of SLA research. Summarized here are those papers that represent mainstream SLA phonology research, as well as papers that have particular relevance to other areas of SLA research.
