As usual at the beginning of the year, we publish our traditional editorial note.

The percentage of original manuscripts received last year dealing with Latin American history represented 35%. Articles dealing with Spanish and Portuguese economic history represented 35% and the number of original research papers on Global economic history reached 29%.

In the course of 2022, the team of editors will be replaced. We would like to thank all the authors, reviewers and colleagues who have collaborated with us over the years.

Finally, we gratefully acknowledge contribution from reviewers of the received manuscripts during this difficult year.
