(1417), being entered by name with the addition of “Seneschallus Hospitii Domini Regis,” among the noblemen who witnessed the delivery of the great seal of gold to the Bishop of Durham on that day, the King being at Southwick Priory, near Porchester, on the eve of his voyage to France.
