Signor Lorenzo Fortunati, on whose property the excavations in question were made, has announced an extensive work to be published by subscription, under the able editorship of Padre Garrucci, in which the paintings, sarcophagi, and other remains discovered on the Via Latina, will be fully illustrated. This work is to consist of a quarto volume of text, and a folio volume of thirty plates.
