The paper on “Berlioz,” which I had the honour of reading at one of our meetings last session, having been so kindly received by the members of the Musical Association, I have been induced to give one on “Chopin,” with whom, as with Berlioz, I was intimately acquainted during my stay in Paris, where I resided for many years. Everything connected with Chopin has, at the present day, much more than ordinary interest.
