Amongst the various opinions which are being constantly expressed, and the various critiques and speculations upon the developments in the art of Musical Composition, there is a certain aspect of these developments which seems to have escaped the attention of the experts. It will be the purpose of this Paper to draw attention to these peculiar aspects, and, it is hoped, raise some interesting speculations upon the matter, and show how curiously, and perhaps unconsciously, the old, elemental and natural dicta of Art are revolving round from the age of primary development and asserting themselves.
