Additive direct and maternal breeding values of imported sires in the nucleus flock of a cooperative sheep breeding group

Members of the CAMDA cooperative group breeding scheme have expressed concern about the breeding values of imported sires, with a suggestion that their breeding value was underestimated. Analyses were conducted to examine changes in estimated breeding values for sires imported into the CAMDA nucleus flock
