Influence of supplementation on the composition of manchega ewe's milk grazing sown pastures in central spain

Manchega ewes grazing sown irrigated pastures during the autumn or spring lambing season were or were not supplemented with up to 1 kg ewe-1 d-1 of on-farm supplements (barley and field beans) until mid-lactation with the aim of assessing the influence of practical concentrate supplementation on milk yields and milk composition. Milk samples were taken at 15-day intervals from seven days after lambing.
