The International Centre for Diffraction Data hosts XRD Training for Pharmaceutical Scientists

Even with one of the largest snowstorms in recorded history for New Jersey, the show went on. The ICDD’s 5^th Pharmaceutical Powder X-ray Diffraction Symposium, 14–16 February 2006 was held in the heart of the pharmaceutical industry, Somerset, NJ, U.S.A. The event hosted a global audience wishing to enhance their skills in the use of X-ray powder diffractometry for materials analyses in the pharmaceutical industry.

The symposium week began with an optional workshop entitled, Characterization of Pharmaceutical Solids: Crystal Studies and XRD Applications.” 14 February 2006 marked the beginning of the two and a half day symposium consisting of twenty-eight invited and contributed talks as well as poster presentations.
