1. Nowadays the Spanish term ‘movida’ suggests on the one hand a movement, and on the other actual places (streets, pubs, etc.) where there is a crowd enjoying themselves, even having a party. According to Fouce, there are two versions of the origin of the term: the search for drugs on the street was called ‘movida’, while the term was also used to denote a musical concert or a place where one could find people and action.
2. ‘Colón’ is a laundry detergent very popular in Spain during the 1980s. It was sold in tins of five kilograms.
