1 Despite the claim that these are the ‘first four recordings of this evocative motet’ (p. 283), at least one other was executed and distributed before 1976: a 1958 recording of the work by Russell Oberlin et al., originally on the Expériences Anonymes label (EA-0035) and re-released in 1994 on CD as The French Ars Antiqua: Music of the Middle Ages, vol. 7 (New York: Lyrichord LEMS 8007), track 18, does not form part of the discussion.
