1 On p. 250 in this paper it looks as if in the first paragraph Boole should have written “whatever probability there is that a stone arbitrarily selected is a mineral, there is the same probability that a non-mineral arbitrarily selected is not a stone,” which is required to make the next sentence appropriate.
