Some Recent Developments Concerning Articles 12, 15, 24 and 90 of the Charter

Extract
The Security Council each year, under the specific provisions of Article 15(1) and 24 (3) submits a report on its work to the General Assembly. Under the provisions of Article 15 (2) the Assembly also receives the reports of the Economic and Social Council and the Trusteeship Council. Each year the reports of the three Councils are included in the Agenda of the current Assembly session.

1 This, as a matter of routine, takes place shortly after the opening of the session on the motion of the President. No formal resolution to that effect is introduced.
2 The General Assembly as a rule, on the motion of the President disposes of this item at the end of the session by taking note of the report. In this case too, no formal motion is introduced.
