1. One minor inconvenience in this respect is that the database does not make a reference to the original page numbers.
2. Volumes 1 and 2 were reviewed by Dr. (now Judge) Nelson, D.L.M. (42 NILR (1995) pp. 439–442). Volume 3 was reviewed by the present reviewer (46 NILR (1999) pp. 255–256).CrossRefGoogle Scholar
3. The minimum system requirements for running the CD-ROM are an IBM 486, Pentium, PS/2 or 100% compatible VGA or EGA monitor, 16 Mb of RAM; Harddisk with a at least 10Mb free; Windows version 3.11 or higher, CD-ROM drive with MSCDROMEX or equivalent.
4. It should noted that the reports of Volumes I and II have also not been updated in their entirety. However, Volume HI gives an update of the implications of the changes in political geography in the Adriatic Sea, the Baltic Sea and the Black Sea, and also contains some other additions and corrections. In any case, it would have been difficult to update all the individual reports, in view of the comprehensive character of and cross-references in the original project.
5. According to the helpfile, the CD-ROM will be updated once a year.
