Abstract

3,4,9,10-perylene tetracarboxylic dianhydride (PTCDA) layers exhibit significant photoresponse. Despite of unfavorable electronic energy level alignment at the dye/PTCDA interface, photon-to-electron conversion efficiencies as high as 1% were observed.
