Melt-Processable Block Copolyimides
Published online by Cambridge University Press: 10 February 2011
Abstract
We present here our probing research with segmented block copolyimdes derived on the basis of certain design principles to optimize performance and processability. We have shown that incorporation of relatively short blocks of rigid mesogenic segments along the backbone of flexible polyimide chains produce thermoprocessable polymeric systems which exhibit self-reinforcing characteristics.
