Abstract

This paper represents a review of the literature on high performance films. Topics discussed include properties of major polyimide films, the preparation of polyimide films via vapor deposition techniques, special extrusion methods for liquid crystalline polymerlpolyimide blends, factors affecting color in polyimide films, and barrierf ilms.
