Field Dependence of Meissner Effect in a Single Crystal of YBa2Cu3Ox in the Ultra-Low Magnetic Field Regime

Abstract

We report a strong field-dependence (from 0.1% to 71%) of flux expulsion (Meissner effect) in a single crystal of YBa2Cu3Ox in magnetic fields from 36 kOe down to 50 mOe. The data is discussed in the context of flux pinning forces and glassy behavior.
