Effective Magnetic Permeability of Composite Materials Near the Percolation Threshold
Published online by Cambridge University Press: 15 February 2011
Abstract
A proposed cluster model is used to determine analytically the effective magnetic permeability of ferromagnetic percolating systems. It is shown that on the approach to the percolation threshold the real part of the magnetic permeability tends to zero in spite of the increase of ferromagnetic component. This anomaly is due to the formation of large conducting clusters.
