Reliability of Optical Coatings Submitted to a High Power Continuous Wave Laser Beam

Abstract
This paper shows experimental results concerning the life time of mirrors irradiated with a continuous wave CO2 laser. An experimental process and a possible mecanism of degradation are discussed.
