Reinforcement in Silicone Elastomers. A Short Review

Abstract

Selected topics on the use of particulate solids to build modulus and strength in silicone elastomers are briefly reviewed. Included are recent views advanced to explain the reinforcement phenomena, some more current approaches to particulate reinforcement and recommended areas for future endeavor.
