Ni-18at.%Al-4at.%Ti single crystals containing small γ precipitates in γ′ matrix were prepared by aging at 1073K after solution treatment from γ′ single phase region. The size, shape and volume fraction of the γ precipitates were examined during aging and deformation by means of changes in spontaneous magnetization and coercive force. Cyclic deformation behavior of these crystals was discussed through change in the morphology of γ precipitates using magnetic technique.
