Published online by Cambridge University Press: 03 November 2016
Extract
The Mathematical Association’s News-letter No. 11, February 1967, contained this paragraph:
With so many schools going comprehensive, there are many experienced grammar-school teachers who are wondering how they will get on with less able children. It might be helpful if others who have been through this transition would share the results of their experiences. Anyone who has something to pass on, no matter how small, is invited to write to Mr. J. K. Backhouse, 44 Franklin Road, Headington, Oxford.
