The Durham Summer Course in Mathematics for Teachers in Secondary Schools

Together with our fellow-students of the Courses in French, Geography and History, we assembled on the evening of the 30th July at the University Lecture Rooms, Palace Green, Durham, and were welcomed on behalf of the University by the Dean of Durham and Canon Cruiokshanks, who promised lis that everything should be done by the authorities to make our visit to their historic city a pleasant one, a promise which it is needless to say was amply fulfilled.
