The first record of the subtropical morwong (Nemadactylus bergi) in the sub-Antarctic waters of the Falkland Islands
Published online by Cambridge University Press: 08 June 2010
Abstract
A morwong (Nemadactylus bergi) specimen was caught in May 2009 by a commercial trawler in Falkland Islands waters, outside its normal sub-tropical distribution. This extends its southwards range, possibly as a result of ongoing global warming.
