First record of the blackfin goosefish (Lophius gastrophysus) from southern Argentina

Abstract

A blackfin goosefish, Lophius gastrophysus, was caught in international waters off the coast of Argentina, south of its known distribution. This extends its southern range from 39°S to 45°S.
