Abstract

The terricolous species Verrucaria xyloxena Norm, and V. bryoctona (Th. Fr.) A. Orange comb. nov. are described and figured. Verrucaria sibirica Zahlbr. is described briefly and the interpretation of the name V. velutina (Bernh.) Ach. is discussed.
