What's new in Legal Information

Victoria Jannetta

Victoria Jannetta is currently working as Deputy Head of Information Services at City law firm Charles Russell, a post she has held since May 2001. She has worked in law firm libraries for the last ten years. Previously, she worked in a medical library, for a firm of surveyors and for the Labour Party. She has been an active member of BIALL for some years. As Chair of the Professional Standards and Development Committee she organised a number of seminars and training events for members. She continues to speak on the Legal Reference Materials courses. Victoria is currently Vice Chair of the Association.

Extract

Over the last six months there have been a number of developments in legal information provision. The major publishers have released new services, and have updated existing products. As a busy information professional it can be difficult to keep up to date with all the changes, and there is not always time to evaluate the benefits of one service over another.
