On behalf of all economists who analyze micro-economic data and use micro-econometrics to unite evidence and theory, and to evaluate policy interventions of all kinds, I accept my portion of the Bank of Sweden Prize in Economic Sciences in memory of Alfred Nobel for the year 2000.
