page 89 note 1 This adjectival form to a word ending in-ī may be traced perhaps also in arīñvā, loc. pl. (Staël-Holstein roll 22), from argi-; also in kucīna in the Fan-yu tsa-ming (ed. Bagchi, i, p. 295, No. 864) given as the name of Kuci. Possibly it may occur also in the arsina-, attested in the gen. sg. as a personal name in the Niya Kharoṣṭhī documents, with which Orqon Turkish r′ s′ n′ (vocalization?) might conjecturally be associated.
