1 These are Sūra Dāsa, Haraknāth, Vidyāpati Thākura, Caṇḍi-dāsa, Jayadēva, Kēśava-dāsa, Umāpati, Mōda-Nārāyana, Harivaṃśa, Gōvindadāsa, Cakrapāṇi, Bhañjana, Karām 'Alī, Jayānanda, and Ramāpati, with two folk-songs . As some of these poets belong to the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, the title of the book is slightly inaccurate.
