The Occurrence of Ophelia Bicornis (Polychaeta) in and Near the Estuary of the River Exe, Devon

Extract

The occurrence of a population of Ophelia bicornis has been recorded at a site which may be the most northerly for the species, and the only one within the United Kingdom. The irregular and patchy distribution of the population is described and reviewed in relation to other recorded occurrences of the polychaete.
