JIPA Most Illustrative Illustration Prize

The JIPA 'Most Illustrative Illustration Prize' is given to the Illustration of the IPA which can serve as a model for future Illustrations, due to its clear and accurate presentation, precise IPA transcription, and appropriate use of quantitative data and descriptive statistics to describe relevant phonetic features in the language, thereby making a considerable contribution to phonetic typology.
