Abstract

The permittivity tensor Є¸(K, ω) of an electron–ion plasma with paramagnetic atoms as neutral component (a paramagnetic plasma) is obtained. Based on this tensor, new types of slow electromagnetic waves in the paramagnetic plasma are predicted.
