Speed Trials with the Decca Navigator

Recently two ships of the Holland-Amerika Line carried out speed trials, using the Decca system. With the permission of this company, which has shown great interest in this new method, the results of the trials are given in this paper. For comparison, some figures for trials on a measured mile are also given.
