Extract
Tranquillizing drugs that have been used in mental deficiency include reserpine, chlorpromazine, promazine, mepazine, hydroxyzine and prochlorperazine.
Esen and Durling (1) thought that the tranquillizing drugs in general were a useful preliminary to psychotherapy. However, the response to individual drugs has been variable.
