∗ Blood effusions on the inner surface of the dura mater and the brain are not exceedingly rare in Epilepsy, according to Trousseau, Echeverria and Charoot. The latter have also described ecchymotic extravasations always surrounded by normal tissues in the above regions, the endocardium, kidneys, &c., in epileptics dying in the status.
