On a New Trematode Allechinostomum renale sp. nov. (Trematoda: Echinostomatidæ), from Pelecanus erythrorhynchos

Extract

An echinostome obtained from the kidney of the North American White Pelican, Pelecanus erythrorhynchos is described as a new species, Allechinostomum renale.

Allechinostomum is regarded as a valid genus.

A differential key to the four-known species of the genus is appended.
