2 I am grateful to the Library staff at the Institute of Classical Studies/Joint Library, and in particular to Mrs S. Willetts, for help in the preparation of this review.
3 For some reason, it is not possible to use the tab key to move from one line in this and similar display screens to the next.
4 An alternative means of finding such reviews would be to use a descriptor search on the term Rezensionen and to combine this with a free text search on the title field.
5 Libraries planning to order any database product, but particularly CD-ROM sources, will know that it is necessary to consult technical staff on the requirements for installing and running these; the same applies to departments or to individuals. As libraries now find, the purchase of such products entails a continuing need to invest in hardware or software upgrades; again, the same applies to departments or to individuals.
