An Inscription from Hierokepia, Cyprus

Extract

The following inscription was found by me on a dry wall in the yard of Kyriakos Sava of Yeroskipou. It comes from the locality known as ‘mitzi’, which is supposed to have been the necropolis of Hierokepia, a town mentioned by Strabo: Geographica, XIV, 6: ‘A short distance from the sea is Hierokepia. Then Paphos built by Agapenor’.
