1 Dr. Plath argues not only from linguistic and stylistic considerations but also from a direction in Castellio's hand in the MS. of De haereticis … non puniendis to its translator into French, Grymoult, which may plausibly be taken to refer to the Historia de morte Serveti in a manner implying authorship
2 One is the spelling in the MS. of ‘Christus’ without its ‘h’, an orthographic peculiarity with which Calvin charged Gribaldi and which Dr. Plath finds in every piece in Gribaldi's hand known to him.
