[General Assembly Resolution 3514 (XXX) of December 15, 1975, on measures against corrupt practices of transnational and other corporations, appears at 15 I.L.M. 180 (1976). Economic and Social Council Resolution 2041 (LXI) of August 5, 1976, establishing the Ad Hoc Intergovernmental Working Group on the Problem of Corrupt Practices, appears at 15 I.L.M. 1222 (1976).
[On August 4, 1977, the Economic and Social Council adopted Resolution 2122 (LXIII) which requested the Ad Hoc Intergovernmental Working Group to continue its work as noted in the above report, to expand its membership to all interested states, with the provision that the Working Group meet only if a quorum of four states from each interested geographical group is represented, and to report to the Sixth-fifth Session of the Economic and Social Council and to the Fourth Session of the U.N. Commission on Transnational Corporations. The Resolution was adopted without a vote.
[The U.N. Commission on Transnational Corporations established an Intergovernmental Working Group on a Code of Conduct which submitted a report on its work to the Third Session of that Commission. The report on the formulation of a code of conduct appears at 16 I.L.M. 709 (1977).]
