[The 1961 Agreement between Iceland and the United Kingdom on fishing in Icelandic waters appears at I.L.M. page 490.
[On April 14, 1972, the Government of the United Kingdom filed in the Registry of the International Court of Justice an application instituting proceedings against Iceland. The case originates in the decision of the Government of Iceland to extend its exclusive fishery limits to a distance of 50 nautical miles from the baselines.
