[In the Final Declaration of the Conference on Maritime Safety, the Ministers responsible for maritime safety in the above-mentioned states stress ed the importance of keeping under review the implementation of the arrangements adopted and of proposing improvements to the system. They agreed to hold a new Conference during 1984 which would allow them to discuss and examine the Memorandum of Understanding in light of the experient gained during 1982 and 1983.]
