* [Reproduced from the text provided to International Legal Materials by Paul Peters. This updated list give's the parties to and status information for the 380 bilateral and 3 multilateral investment treaties on record as of January 22, 1991. Almost half of these (179) have been concluded since January 1980, and 168 of them were not included in the list previously reproduced at 21 I.L.M. 1208 (1982). Treaties to which an OECD member state (other than Portugal and Turkey) is a party are listed chronologically under the name of that country; those concluded among non-OECD countries follow, again listed chronologically. United States bilateral investment treaties are also listed. The symbol “[*]” indicates that a treaty appeared in I.L.M.; “nif” indicates that a treaty was not yet in force as of the date given.]
