[The Arbitration Law of the People's Republic of China, effective September 1, 1995, is reproduced at 34 I.L.M. 1650 (1995). The Arbitration Law follows enactment of the CIETAC Arbitration Rules. The Law consists of 80 articles and applies to both PRC domestic and foreign-related arbitral proceedings, and will govern CIETAC arbitrations as well as those conducted under the auspices of the local economic contract arbitration commissions of the State Administration of Industry and Commerce.
