Iran signed on July 7, 1970.

The Convention Establishing the World Intellectual Property Organization, to be the successor organization to the United International Bureau for the Protection of Intellectual Property (BIRPI), appears at 6 International Legal Materials 782 (1967). That Convention entered into force on April 26, 1970.]
