[The Convention has been ratified by all signatories and will enter into force for them on July 22, 1968. On March 1, 1967, the U.S. Senate gave its advice and consent to ratification by the United States and the President ratified the Convention on April 24, 1967. The U.S. application to accede to the Convention will be made according to the terms of Article 16(4).
