Open Call for Book Review Editor at ILWCH
The journal International Labor and Working-Class History is looking for historians interested in labor history writ large to join the editorial board of the journal as a Book Review Editor. ILWCH has an international reputation for scholarly innovation and quality. It explores diverse topics from globalisation and workers’ rights to class and consumption, labor movements, class identities and cultures, unions, and working-class politics. ILWCH publishes twice annually. The book review editor would manage topical review essays, and reports from workers and activists in the field, and retrospective essays on well-known books in the field.

It explores diverse topics from globalisation and workers’ rights to class and consumption, labor movements, class identities and cultures, unions, and working-class politics. ILWCH publishes original research, review essays, and reports from workers and activists in the field. Comparative and cross-disciplinary, the journal is of interest to scholars in history, sociology, political science, labor studies, global studies, and a wide range of other fields and disciplines.
We are particularly keen to expand our board with members whose specialty lies in any period, with an emphasis in early modern with particular interest in the pre-industrial period.
